Out of all the people I know, the youngest person asked to leave was 49. Close to retirement, but not close enough.

In my 30's and last day is 12/31. Everyone in my department that was let go has health problems.

I filed a complaint and I am pretty sure there are many others doing the same thing. It is FREE to file a complaint. The wait time can be long but I feel we need to say simething.
40 is the new 50
Im 36 and was let go today.
When I was rif'd from Verizon they let go of 14 people in my dept. Most all nearing 50.
Cannot sue them otherwise they will tie up your money and make you pay for their attorney fees
You should have been provided a report of all titles and ages that got rif'ed. The majority I saw were over 40. Any open an eocc complanint? If so please post it.

Most of the Op's Teams in the wireless call centers in the west that were let go were in their 30's & 40's.
