The Union is not going down without a fight. and it's a fight they just might win. When all is said and done, the people that built this company just might be still standing.
Pre merger, the wireless side acted like their poop didn't stink. Now that their business has plateaued, and they are feeling the pain that wireline went through for years, they are freaking out and blaming wireline. Sorry, but Verizon needs to evolve and focus on growth areas, just like it did with the wireline to wireless transition. Welcome to the club.
How could they ever sell the wireline in areas where the cell traffic is heavy. $25,000 for 10g, wow.

We've wanted to dump Wireless for a long, long time. VZ charges VZW about $1800 a month for 10G bandwidth but charges AT&T (we built out AT&T network, that's why we have the 7100 RODEM) $25,000 a month for the same 10G bandwidth. VZW starts paying market rates and let the chips fall where they may (which I'm betting is going to be wirelines profit skyrockets).

No one hates any employees. There are only two teams in this game. One is leadership team that has golden parachutes and the other is employees who are treated like garage equipment.

Maybe the OP feels hate but I have no issues with the union and I'm management and vice versa can be said. We all have jobs to do and as long as you do it showing respect for each other, there is no time for hate. Maybe you need to stop listing to the rhetoric so much.
We get along great with our boss. It took some time but we finally convinced him the company hates him as much as they hate us.
