I am one of the affected IT employees from yesterday (11/19/2015) RIF in VES (Verizon Enterprise Solutions). Under my director (IT Test) all employees are given notice. This company shipping all jobs to offshore. I am going to switch my internet and wireless connection to another provider because they are cheap (Verizon doing same, shipping jobs to offshore because they are cheap).

I am from a competitor. All of them are doing the same with IT..... PLEASE PLEASE ALL THE IT workers unite.... WE are trying to form a coalition of Communications IT workers to stand up against H1B and outsourcing.... Going to competitors is not going to work.... EVERYONE of these companies are doing EXACTLY the same to IT...
We need to fight this as a coalition of ALL IT WORKERS in COMMUNICATION INDUSTRY.....AGAINST H1B and OUTSOURCING....
There are people and organisations trying to stand up for US workers displaced by H1bs.... but they cannot do it alone, without your complaints... and standing up with them...

I have been posting here the whole week.... no one from verizon seems to have contacted anyone the in protectusworkers organisation... IT IS FREE, IT IS CONFIDENTIAL, YOU WILL MEET GREAT FELLOW AMERIANS IN SAME SITUATIONS WILLING TO STAND UP TO AMERICAN WORKERS
If you RIF 50% of your reports then you are allowed to keep your job. That is the policy in network IT.
What about several other VP orgs in VES IT? Like Archana, Dinesh and others?

From what I can tell in the Organizational Chart, these jobs are going to Cebu, Phillipines.
