Anyone know of visa holders getting RIF'd yet? Can you post some numbers here? I think we need to be sharing that information so we can have a better idea of just HOW BAD we are getting screwed by Verizon.

1 young 20 something Indian guy i know of got RIF'd and he was on a Visa. He was also good at his job but fairly new and a junior guy in the dept.
He was the only engineer in his group that was on a visa - they could have RIF'd one of the others in his group that were citizens with I
assume much higher salaries and more costly benefit packages.
IT is 95% Indian...out of 60 people I know that got laid off only 2 are Indian...you come to your own conclusion
Many in Temple Terrace, FL got impacted. None of them are Visa dependent..
