Well? What do we think? Will it be just as bloody. What do we think will happen tomorrow? Who will be impacted?

RA was already impacted, early today. Meetings were held. No talk of moving to Lake Mary. I expect more employees to be let go soon after the first of the year. Good Luck.
RA in Hilliard was hit first thing this morning. No news on any move of the department, but writing is on the wall.
Any word on Hilliard Revenue Assurance? We are all anxious to determine if we are affected today.
The slaughter has begun in Pittsburgh. I feel like I'm at the deli counter waiting for my number to be called.
I think the severance is worded differently for wireless and wireline, but essentially 30-ish weeks of pay. I don't know about the bonus structure or other details regarding benefits carryover, etc.
I'm union in Pgh, so even though I won't be affected, it's still close to home. Our team was affected on the 5th and we lost the only 2 people who knew anything about the department. Best to everyone today.
Standard severance package is 2 weeks for each year up to 35 weeks max. And this is calculated on base pay plus your fully funded bonus included in that calc. You also get a prorated bonus, targeted percentage times % of year worked times 66% funded. Also you get medical benefits for the same period of time. Good luck to all...
All I know is that I am up 2 hours early today. Good luck everybody.
Its coming to the pa tech support team(fsc)-we were told to be in our seats at 8am tmrw on sametime. It was stressed the importance of being on time- especially tomorrow. None of my peers are sleeping. Good luck everyone- doesnt anyone know what the curremt severance package is for mamagement employees?

My org is cutting 50% tomorrow (thurs)- and Im sure I will be one of them. Can anyone shed some light on what the package will look like? I heard 2 weeks pay for every year of service with a cap of 15 weeks. Someone else said you also get like $2500 for each year of service on top of that. Can anyone confirm what the standard package is? I have 15 years. Thanks in advance. - sleepless VZ employee
VES notifications are tomorrow as well as CMB.
CMB is mostly Indians, doubt they will get impacted.
I have a one-on-one with my direct manager tomorrow. Looks to be the official salutations. He said he couldn't go into details, but "we knew why we were meeting".
@Anonymous203412: I could not agree more with what you wrote: "Remember head high, no begging, pleading or open displays of sobbing....." One minor bit of Karma, the firing Manager and maybe Director won't be there much longer either.
What position is CMB?
The night before Anne Boleyn's beheading the executioner sharpened his axe. The Queen, for her part, held her head high and strode confidently to her execution. I'm hoping for tthe same level of grit from the old telco guard, even as the death dealers are tonight sharpening their riff axes. Remember head high, no begging, pleading or open displays of sobbing.
My husband is in VES and has heard NOTHING!
CMB to take the biggest hit. It has been eerie quiet this week. The lack of communication is sickening and just fuels the rumors. So many are so sick of this shit. If I only had a few years with the company, I would be bolting for the door.
Good luck tomorrow everybody.
There's a rumored re-org for the folks in VES tomorrow. I was amused by Management's request that everyone had to be in the office for the festivities. Perhaps we'll be needed to clean-up our cubicles.
Many have not been functioning this week. Fear of what tomorrow holds.
