Has everyone noticed that our so called "leaders" have gone into hiding? I'm taking back control of my career and going to find a new employer regardless of what happens on Thursday. Don't let these self-centered people managers rule your life. There are so many great companies out there that need qualified people, we shouldn't be wasting our time and energy on this debt laden titanic.

Leaders have been instructed to stay out of the general population. Security walking around BR. Can spot them easy. Big clowns in ill fitting suits with temporary badges. Would expect they are armed as well. a very caustic environment despite the nervous smiles from the currently "spared"...
Wireless is thrashing around like a gutted fish. Nobody knows what's going on, or who's going to do the work. Good job Lowell.
As i have a company vehicle i am expecting an end ....others in my building were indignantly sent home in a cab and there desk stuff literally put out on the curb to be retrieved that weekend.....i do not know about other companies ...always assumed not an option for 25 year plus non pension union wireless only worker. BUT absolutely i agree the directors have retreated either licking wounds or scared themselves. For over 4 months they are supposedly waffling about contractors doing my job yet somehow they were taken by surprised when 1/3 of the crew was let go leaving it impossible to achieve the goal. And when have they ever not known their budget needs by the previous June. This is sophmoric to leave people hanging while other jobs come and go. Loyalty twist me in to doing the work of two to complete the goal and yet are they laughing at me for listening to their pleas of ignorance about the future? Last month was the perfect fire drill to practice my preparedness bur did I really miss the axe or am i just working the two months the others were paid to stay home....oh and why are some allowed to look around to grab a new job while others were permanently terminated...Yes leaders are absent.
