You can be in a union and not give political donations. Google "Agency Fee Payor" to find out how.

Here's a fun fact. The major sticking point in the current union contract negotiations is healthcare. That's because with the ACA, "Cadillac" healthcare plans, like those of the Vz Unions, will be subjected to a 40% tax because they are too generous. Management is trying to keep that from happening and the Union doesn't care.

So if the Union gets its way, that 40% comes out of everyone else.

And remember, the Unions pushed for Obama and by extension the ACA.

@china. Correct. Divide and conquer working just as it's supposed to. The big money men are laughing their asses off at the working stiffs that are defending them.

If unions are corrupt then what the h$!# are the politicians and ceos its amazing how poor people will go out of their way to attack other poor people and stick up for the rich.

@200395, boy are you a piece of work. I don't suppose you recalling this but Obama walked into the White House and on his first day there was 10.6 trillion in debt on the books already, two wars being fought but not paid for, an unfunded Medicare Part D program, tax cuts for the rich in effect, and an economic meltdown in progress. I'm not even a fan of Obama, but this revisionist history practiced by the FOX crowd is astounding.

Remember it was the unions who helped put obama in the white house, and that was the death knell for the economy. Unions are corrupt. The only people that they help are the union leadership and washington politicians.

Well The Union workers are still working and not budging. If they go down, they'll tear the place down with them. Fare play to them, they built the place literally. The Non Union workers were shown the door like meek lambs off to slaughter by a very greedy Executive board.

@199995, The corporations got it, along with yours. And yet they're still not satisfied. Maybe some more layoffs, more H1B's, and more concessions will satisfy them. Oh, and let's raise the compensation to the upper executives some more too.

It It, This country only had one way to go 7 years ago, and that wasn't further down. 98 million out of the workforce sums it up. I have no doubt that you helped support the demise by voting for a Marxist not only once, but twice. I hope you enjoy the newly transformed America. I work, I don't have time to listen to a radio, so tell me - exactly which domestic policies / laws has Limbaugh enacted that has sunk this country to new lows?

@199908, Actually, I've been paying attention the last 35 years, as unions and the middle class have been disappearing together. It's not a coincidence either. Funny how the Limbaugh zombies seem to think everything was just peachy until 7 years ago.

LOL @ the Sanders fanbois... he will suck whats left of the life right out of the middle class quicker than you can cast a ballot. There can be no middle class in the newly transformed America, haven't you been paying attention for the last 7 years?

At least he brought national media attention. He did so to support unions. He knows it's our only chance to fight and win against wall street.
