The comment about "Indian veterans" is not literal. The point is Indians are hired over Americans. Indians work cheap and from my experience in working with them, are not qualified to do the job. They work slow because they are learning on the job. They don't do complete analysts but instead apply band aids to fix code problems. And good luck getting a reply to your email requesting their assistance. They will ignore it if they don't understand it or dont know what to do. This is the VZW culture they have put in place and upper management should be ashamed of themselves for allowing it. It is the dumbing down of America.

Well in India government jobs are for life. You never can be fired once you get into a govt job. They get pension after they retire and the pension is extended to their spouses after their death. And the pension is inflation adjusted every year. So Indian Veterans don't come to American H1 jobs.
