Does anyone have an new information on VES RIF's next week? There is a call for all VES Operations folks next Wednesday hosted by Burvill. There is no agenda or anything in the subject to indicate what the call is about (often there is an agenda or the title says things like 3Q Results etc.) Just speculation but this sounds like what wireless went through a couple of weeks ago; a call on Wednesday afternoon followed by RIF's on Thursday!
More likely they perceive a benefit to not releasing that information yet, don't you think?
The stress last week drove me nuts too worrying about my spouse. He is such a good guy. It has been painful to watch how things have went since the merger. I would tell myself that this is not as stressful as a soldier driving down a hostile road, but in the end the waiting was too much for me. I'm not proud to admit that I ate an entire box of cookies in the night last Wednesday which I have never done in my life. Good luck to you all next week - keep a box of cookies handy in the pantry. The out package has been fine, so I guess life goes on.

But according to the chatter on this board, the next rifs are planned for Niv. 19, which will be after the announcements. Maybe it's only certain orgs.
Maybe because there are more RIF's this week...
What state (s) are you located in? I may have some job openings and am looking for best states to post them in. Trying to focus on the potential lay off area.
