yes network employees in upstate ny have been laid off. They lay people off but continue to dump tons of work on them. Nothing like working for a company that keeps fear in place. Its not bad enough that employees have been losing benefits for years while you scumbags on the board continue to grow big fat bankbooks. The wireless side should have voted to organize years ago. Call centers are sources of corporate diversity quota numbers from feds, so they aren't going to be impacted UNLESS they can be replaced with other minorities, such as H1B minorities, such as Indians, which do count towards quotas. So can call centers be replaced by H1Bs at a better cost? I would tend to think so....
