Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Form and spin off a new company (including Wireless, AOL, etc). Then stick wireline and VES with all the acquisition debt.

Buy Wireless for CEO Ego Boosting $130B (we should have just paid $150B and bought Vodaphone, then sold everything except Wireless). Now we are destroying the rest of the company, just to save Wireless. Wireless is clueless how to actually survive a downturn in revenue. They have simply made $ because we had a great network at the right time. A monkey could have made $ running wireless during that timeframe. Remember the birth of the day-trader? Even plumbers and mechanics were making money in the stock market.... Another option would have been to form and spin off a new company (including Wireless, AOL, etc). Then stick wireline and VES with all the acquisition debt. Maybe the new company could sponsor a logo contest for kindergarten classrooms, the result couldn't possibly be worse than one we paid "professionals" to create.

Because wireless can survive without wireline how? Streamline to a 100% VZ owned wireline/wireless network in the Northeast is the plan. No interconnect fees, no sharing profits and no subsidizing the less profitable states Frontier is buying sounds like a win-win-win to me.

Remember the GAP "box" logo from 2010..?

See the VERIZON "check" logo from 2015..?

Wtf are we paying mr millenial from j crew to do here..?

Absolute absurd business decisions being made here to the detriment of the long term value of verizon communications.

Who made the decision to allienate verizon's loyal long term customer base and revenue streams in favor of fly-by-night price point millenials..?

Who read the psychiatric study that shows "PTSD like effects" when mellenials lose use of their handheld phones and decided to put all the eggs in that basket..?

Where is the board at on this ?

What are the sharholders "sticking with verizon until we get through 2016" for...?

Why are there no answers for shareholders..?

What happens when ther are no more staes to sell off next quarter...?
