Recently Mudge said he was unhappy that several of mgmt folks activated medical exception to escape from drafting. I think we should ask Mudge to show up how to climb a pole.

The mgmt team that are drafted to fill in for union workers got very poor training. We alrwady forgot any of the training we received several months ago. Many of the trained folks let go in the past several weeks. Any strike at this point of time is a disaster for VZ.
Well, the money will be there to be made by the management trying their hand at doing the craft work, but just like last time it will be comical at best. Hopefully, Noone gets hurt. I heard a manager in Virginia had a heart attack during pole climbing school. Hundreds of managers quit with the impending strike upon them, knowing they were in no way ready to do field work after so many years behind a desk. The saddest part about it all is that the customers will most likely jump ship after a lengthy strike and subpar service.
Now that's funny...if you think that Lowell is going to give in, then I want some of what you're drinking. He's trying to break the union so it will be more enticing to sell to the new carrier.
Lowell will not mess with the Union. He will agree to all the demands of the union if they do not yield.
Lowell can only be arbitrary about non-union employee.
Lowell knows that he will not be able to make arbitrary decisions regarding Union employees. That is why he started arbitrary layoffs at the end of the year so his bonus looks good for the year 2015.
