This the wireless employee program. ANY other carrier can give you a better price. ALMOST ANY other carrier can provide as good or better service then verizon... Sorry AT&T and TMOBILE HSPA and LTE blow away verizon outdated technology. No value returned to me by using them✔️

I know of nobody in my office that uses Verizon for anything, wireless or home services. My entertainment dollar definitely does not go to the same people spending it on a law firm to screw me over.

Not for nothing, but why contribute more of your money to them...if they rif me, I'll dump them right quick..go with another carrier. Most are 30-40% cheaper then vz to begin with and offer service which is just as good. Not gonna support a company that has proved it doesn't care for me !

It also depends on your age and length of service. I was riffed in February 2015 at age 58. Because of my age and length of service, I receive a 25% discount on my phone bill for however long I stay with VZ. I am classified as a VZ retiree. If you part of the RIF, do yourself a favor: READ ALL OF THE DOCUMENTATION, CONTACT HR, CONTACT VZ WIRELESS ABOUT YOUR DISCOUNT, CONTACT BENEFITS TO ENSURE HOW LONG YOUR MEDICAL,DENTAL AND VISION BENEFITS REAMIN IN FORCE.(mine remained in force from February thru November at no charge, just the normal deductible and copays) Also, you can still maintain your voluntary elected life insurance elections for the span of the severance period, but you will have to send in a monthly period. Make sure you contact the above departments a few times to question things as you may receive a different answer depending on the day and who you speak to. Do not be timid about calling the departments over and over to get information. IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO QUESTION EVERYTHING.

VZ took my entire discount away, but my wife's company gets 18%, so I switched it over to that.

Do they make it 20% or no disco at all? Lot of non-VZ employees get 20% disco...like banks etc.

I would move out of VZ for my 7 phone family plan the minute they takeaway the disco.

Mine lasted about 6 months before I got notice that they were removing my cell phone discount after I got RIF'd. I remember a few years ago management asked for money saving ideas and someone submitted auditing the employee rolls for active vs. non-active and rescinding the discount on both wireline and wireless products. I was like WTF, these people gave their heart and soul to VZ at least you could provide them a discount going forward to thank them. I guess they finally implemented that b/c before that I had friends with discounts from many years back that were still active.

About 30 days past your last day, but your discount stays on thru your bill cycle.
