Listen, people are losing their careers for what? So that the truly wealthy people I'm this country can maintain/increase their wealth. VZ is truly reaching a plateau in terms of growth and the TMobile is gaining market share and soon AT&T will start seeing a bigger bump. Many on Wall Street are downplaying the Directv merger, but with cord cutting increasing in popularity, having a streaming TV service with the rights to every NFL game will turn out to be an excellent move. Content is king and sports are DVR/Netflix proof. AT&T is marketing the quad play with Directv with a pretty good price point right now. If they really want to increase market share in the wireless market they should try and be a little more agressive in terms of lower pricing. TMobile is also putting the full court press on the big 2 and the agitating fly is gaining more and more traction. I really don't understand why VZ is blowing morr and more money on things that don't really seem are going to bring a strong return. AOL, GO90, NBA, and rebranding of the logo. It almost seems like they are trying to get rid of money/add debt.

Our Union . today forgot the lessons of history, the new Union are about, me, myself, and I, which is pretty much what defines millennials today... Entitlement !!
you do realize Verizon wireline consumer and business both sell Direct tv services even after the Merger. So that whole competition talk is non sense we are still a Monopoly. My wife is a electronics tech for Verizon & part of her job is installing cell towers for T mobile, sprint etc talk about MONOPOLY....
