Just got an email this morning that EAP counselors are available. The distro days select audiences...This is directly related to the layoffs and mentions transitioning, etc. In the email. However, I haven't been let go am I on the list for the 19th?

With a union you would know exactly where you stand. If there were to be a layoff you would be well aware of the "list" , who was on it, and when they were being notified. No games . No playing favorites. Contractualy , your job could not be moved overseas or to another location.
No, I have been told I am not impacted, and I also got the email. It was an all employee email, and remember, the impacted people will still be around until 12/31 at least in VZW IT, it is working that way. They also received the email as well!
Oh my I hope it was a mistake.
