Just like the entire.manufactuong has been shifted to China, Korea, Japan, Mexico and other countries in the last several decades, all the desk jobs will shift to India, Philippines and other low wage countries. Even the jobs that are currently filled by guest workers will shift offshore. The entire guest worker program is a stop gap measure.
It is in the core of capitalism. When a society is founded on the for-profit-greedy corporations, they will have no meaning to a nation. Such companies always aim to cut costs and maximize profit margins. And Investors welcome that trend.
Look at the greatest paradoxical nature of an American- as an investor he/she likes profits and he would punish the companies that are not sweatshops; and as a worker he/she does not like companies to offshore and use cheap labor unlike the way he/she uses cheap China products. Who is to blame? Are we not wearing multiple hats? Are we not paradoxical?
