Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

I have a best case against VZ. Are there any lawyers that work and take their fee only if terminated employee wins and compensated by VZ?

No chance in hell times two. Real lawsuits are nothing at all even close to what you see on TV.

Don't take my word for it, call lawyer and have them tell you the same thing. Explain your case and then ask them when we can get started, their answer will be as soon as your check clears.

Don't confuse your legal rights with ethics. Law does not guarantee fairness and huge companies like VZ have enormous legal teams to advise them before such layoffs. Chances are they have the legal right to lay us off, even though they have no sense of morality.

No chance in hell, sorry. I can't assume you accepted any severance? If you did, you signed any rights for lawsuit away. Sure you know but I've been down this road before.

You may want to check this out, it's a thread on retaining an attorney for wrongful termination purposes (California, Irvine): https://www.thelayoff.com/verizon-communications/post/6308388084383744
