The whole operation run by lazy and incompetent managers and supervisor under the supervision of worthless director who is influence by PATEL mafia and the worst part of it Executive director sitting in his office eating peanuts. Advise to Verizon Wireless Leadership “change management Structure prevent corporate politics, prevent sub-continent mafia like culture within the company”, just remember you can’t win the boat race by getting rid of one rower, you need to get rid of one director, three managers, and 9 supervisors

Fool. You will let go for legitimate reason and now thankfully we were all spared your IGNORANT beliefs. First of all there are no more than 6 ppl of East Indian descent within the NOC-E. While there are as many or more of other races within the office that perform their job well not enough not to warrant a release from the company. Second the problem is Americans that think because they are simply american and qualified they should maintain their job as opposed to actually excelling at their job. I would not keep you either if you JUST QUALIFIED. Silly. Lastly the prevailing opinion by many is that they decided to let go of much of the dead weight or under performers...layoffs just made it easier. Not every one let go fit that profile. Some were just unfortunate circumstances. As an adult you should realize the reality of corporate america is that they will sacrifice the lambs before they get rid of management. WAKE UP

Speaking hatefully about a certain race is not OK. However, anyone looking at the numbers here, seeing WHO is being let go, and WHO is staying, knowing that the issue of hiring HB1s to replace qualified American workers, yes, even some Indian American workers is a source of controversy and legislation currently, we can't be expected to just avoid talking about it. How many posts have we seen that specifically reference corruption in certain markets? There have been offices mentioned multiple times. Could it be from a pissed off employee just posting repeatedly? Sure, but maybe not. The internet, specifically,boards like this, enable workers (and makes off workers, the ability to share information like never before. These companies have always relied on isolating their workers from each other after layoffs, or leading up to layoffs, with non-disclosure agreements and confidentiality clauses. They know there is power in numbers,power in transparency, why do you think they hate unions? If employees across the US are seeing competant, veteran, American workers being let go, while HB1's stay, and while family members of managers (of Indian descent) stay; if there is an obvious pattern here then we need to be talking about, sharing info, and reporting it to HR and to the EEOC.
