The problem is will they use the same underhanded tricks to eliminate headcount that Bank of America is using. It is sad Human Resources helps in gaming people out and then acts like their sh-- does not stink. Never lookup to Human Resources as leaders.
It doesn't matter how experienced, dedicated, or how diligently you work. Nor is tenure always a factor. Economists are saying we are headed for another economy like 2007/2008. There are some banks in trouble. The current and future markets are driving the layoffs. Ultimately, layoffs will continue be a part of the current picture. I am truly sorry for any who lose their jobs. If you are being downsized, please, have a plan. You may have to downsize your life for the present. But, long term you will come out better than most.
Will happen this year and next year, E&E 2020 and Follow the Sun initiatives. Expect 5% cuts this year in IT. More work will be sent to India for IT.

In my opinion , It's very likely, in fact long term employees are starting to exit now anticipating impacts of potential Q1 2016 layoffs at Wells Fargo
I would probably say it's highly unlikely
Wells is downsizing for sure. Wouldn't be surprised it hits there
