Managers claim to have known nothing about the eisp being offered. I find it hard to believe. More meetings scheduled tomorrow, Friday, next week. Why the waiting game and why do they give us bits and pieces. Just tell us like it is and quit all the rumors and fear of the unknown. This is so aggravating because it's not like it'll remain secret so just TELL US what the restructure entails, who all is affected, how we are impacted, WHEN. Ugh!!!

When large layoffs like this happen, the managers who will retain their jobs attend classes on how handle and execute the layoffs. It is not done a whim. It is very well planned and orchestrated. Welcome to reality.
It does not take a high IQ to make a manager, just saying
That's effed up. These people essentially control our careers and don't know a f***ing thing. Lack of job knowledge aside, how could you not know your boss??? Our director came to visit the manager who shortly before interviews with her and got hired, then asked her who she is and that she looks familiar. SMH
My manager didn't even know his new boss until I told him because I looked at the directory. Managers don't know anything
true. most managers don't know much. The names are being picked at director and above level. Managers just know who they are notifying if they have person on their team.
Because I was gonna leave company this month, but would wait if eisp is coming.
who cares, nothing new..just milk the cow till there is not milk left,.... while you can
Wireline? Where?
This is so true - my manager is playing stupid. She does not know anything. Yeah, right...
