If your still here now is the time to use them for more education.
they wil stay in business, will have a minimum US marginal workforce, in the land of the poor.
I do not think they will be out of business, however they will merge with some unnamed company and call it a "Merger of Equals"
The whole idea is to reduce debt and expense. Meaning people and benefits.
All the pensions and benefits (including retirees) need to be assumed by any potential buyer. Reduce those and VZ looks better to purchase.
Most of the jobs will be automated..even the migrant workers in the farm lands will be replaced to certain extent by the IoT. We need to find a way to be relavent in a small niche where the human capital is still repected... (I don't mean entertainment industry).
