The word millennials is a marketing term to segregate the society. Every person on the earth constantly adjust and change to fit and adopt the technology. Even if you.are a 60 year old.you are forced to you use a cell phone- look at Lowell. ..poor guy :(

the one with the English degree, do not think that your degree is not being looked at. the new rule is that they want degrees to match the position you work in. so you have a target on your back. yes there are many that were let go and told that they did not have the degree to match the job. this is why many are running back to school in hope that they are not next

This is bullshit. I have an English degree and am working in a prominent tech role in our company. It's all about attitude and aptitude. Stop hating on Millennials, particularly because most don't live at home.

Anonymous190363 - sorry, there is a ton of well paid jobs but you cannot get them with a psych major (30% of graduates are psych major - who in the world invented that) - you cannot get them with university of phoenix, devry or other bullshit degrees that kids are getting without having to make any effort. go to a decent school, pick any major where you have to work your butt off (anything with math, accounting, chemistry, etc) and you'll have a decent paying job in no time. but no, kids are thought that they are special, they do half asses extra curricular and sports and mediocre amateur level and we applaud to them like they are gods. NO. they need to work hard and pursue their drams and they will make it just like their parents did. it takes patience, it takes decades to make a career. I've started making real money probably only after 15 years working in a corp environment, all before that was pain and barely making ends meet, but it did pay off as it'll for each of those kids who's willing to work hard and separate illusion from reality.
Simple, because their parents have all the money. Their parents were the last ones to step into boom times America. That generation was the last to find many good paying jobs available, and lots of room to move up. Today the job market is stagnant, and failing. The parents have the house, the two to three cars, the company pension, health care plan, a decent wage job.
It's simple, there are two Americas the booming one of parents, and the failed state America of the children.
