Stratton mentioned something about that in the webcast.

I am a millenial "under 35 years old", I recently quit Verizon becuase they would not pay me the same as my peers who had my same job title, they strung me on for months saying they were working on it. When I finally quit, a less qualified millenial took the job and recieved over 10k more than I asked for in order to do my job. But honestly, I think that I dodged a bullet

millennial = young person living in their parent's basement. millennials don't spend a lot of money, don't go into stores, and don't call customer service.

Well Put, couldn't agree with you more 967! Sad that Verizon is going to throw away their whole Marketing Model because of 1 demographic of people...just makes no sense. I get going after a group of people but to just adopt this as the new standard and get rid of everyone and everything else is crazy!!!!!! I would love to see to all out on this...

If you look up definition of millennial, you will see that it is a range of age group that varies signicantly. It can be anyone born between 1980 and 2005. That is of current age range of 35 to 15. All the folks that are older than 35 also have seen and experienced what a person below 35 has experienced. Like cell phones, laptops, ipads, google search, personal computing, social media, email, text messaging etc. So the older generation has also gone through the transition that millennials have experienced. You are forced to adopt the new technology - there is no pulse dailing or rotory phones or telegrams. So millennial habits are not completely align to older generation. That is why our CEO is able to explain their life style.

It is just a marketing term used only in US. Marketing in US has vested interest in segregating the market in number of ways. ON more than half the earth, pink color is not dedicated only for females. But US people are slaves of marketing firms. Marketing folks.do not like if a girl and a boy share the same bike in a home. So they segregate the non-living things as female and male. So that they can sell more.

Please don't let your culture be dictated by a marketing guy who has vested interests. I grew up half my life in India and rest in US. I can clearly see how corporations control the culture in this country.
