Management retaliation for whistle blowing and call if wide spread lay off

I call it termination, I blow the whistle on management, HR promise me that they have protection policy for whistle blower, but did not protect me against the evil management, Later management find different way to terminate me but could not find a reason because of my good performance and continues education and certifications however this is the best opportunity they found to terminate me which they called "Lay Off”, HR did not step in to ask why among other I was the one go first despite my education and certifications, can I bring wrongful termination law suit against the management?

We know this, C levels will have a huge bonus because they would have reduced cost and increased profit margins.

It's the "Clean Diesel" syndrome. They say this reorg will bring them closer to the customer! LOL! I am sure directors will get a good bonus come February for eliminating older, higher paid employees.

My post is the truth. Go seek out a lawyer. A lawyer will tell you if you have a case. You could try the EEOC as well. In your conversation with the lawyer I recommend discussing payment before you sign any papers. If the lawyer will accept your case on an agreement that they do not get paid unless you get paid then go for it. Also check your severance paper work, you may need to forfeit that if you sue.

Hey Anonymous188963 that is the worst advise I have ever seen.

If you were the only employee in your group and job function to be impacted across the entire company then you might be able to prove something. Depends on your state, can you prove the claim? Only a lawyer specializing in employment cases would be able to say for sure. It also depends on what you are willing to lose. You are paying out of pocket, every company has liability insurance and counsel on staff. Do you believe you can wear them out? Don't believe in justice, these cases can take years.
