Saw many of my co-wokers lose their jobs this week..yet the Sales Leadership didn't even skip a beat and kept up with the sale challenges all day long...no empathy for anyone...didnt care about the sad depressed staff...just give me more...

Just look at the quality of management these companies have, they create a toxic workplace, aimed to get rid of older employees, I heard that AT&T provide bonus.increases to them in exchange for destroying their career and lives
Yes, employers are laying off and generally forcing out older workers. I think they are doing this to reduce medical insurance premiums, pension liabilities, and vacation days. I think employers are covering up this age discrimination by giving older employees crummy performance reviews, despite good work.
