Denny Strigl took the Wal-Mart approach back in the early 2000s whenever a wireless call center flirted with unionizing. Close the center and relocate the jobs to a new location down south. It happened enough to where people opted to lay low instead.

"If you were in Morristown, did you move to Charleston?" Nope, the call center was a stepping stone to better things, I got out before it was moved. And I was CWA on the landline side so I've been in union and it wasn't for me. And if I get RIF'd now it's not my fault, it's the fault of the people that let the org get bloated, but they'll still have jobs at the end of this.
Orangeburg got moved to Wilmington, and Morristown got moved to Charleston. It was because of the union.
You obviously don't have a clue.

Really? I was in Morristown when they tried to unionize us. All the picketers did was slow us down and make us late for work. Way to ingratiate yourself to a bunch of people you want to sign up. Unions are corrupt organizations like anything else, protect by seniority, not ability, take your cash for doing very little and if I get laid off well to bad. Yup, Unions are the BEST!!!
