AT&T sued for rascism for $100m

This is not good for AT&T. No one wants this type of reputation.

Women given very senior rolls in the recent years is a very interesting trend within AT&T. It is like AT&T is trying to prove something. Shouldn't people be promoted because of their qualification not due to gender or race. This trend in promoting people due to gender to high levels of management is actually back firing on AT&T overall.

"Let's face it, being the boss means that you are in a power position and have control over those who report to you, and it can be tempting to take out your own disappointment on those in a weaker position." And that is the tool they are using now, to force many people out of their payroll

It is actually surprising that many people did not realize that this happened at AT&T. This attitude is not only with one guy but is still widely spread in senior level management. Senior level managers are trying to hide by implementing diversity training, bring more women into senior ranks whether they deserve to be or not. But, it is not working. To kill this type of thing, the head needs to be cut off so to speak. Leadership needs to change from an old boys network.
