because of the 60 rule, and they want everyone off the books by 1/1/2016. Good luck to anyone that still has a job.

for 11/5 I know it is IT for sure. across wireless and wireline. BTW last day on payroll cannot be after 12/19/15. that is the last paycheck of the year. they won't issue a 2016 paycheck.
They moved the 11/5, 11/6 notification to 11/19
Just an FYI:
People are attributing this 60 day nonsense to the WARN act. Unfortunately, the WARN act does not apply when RIFs are as a result of a partial or full consolidation of an organization.

No. 11/19 is the last official notification date possible for last day worked of 12/31. You'd hope there'd be unofficial notification from manager before then though.
Yesterday in Alpharetta they were letting people know if they were gone or part of the new org.
