Are these centers going to announce their shutdown today?

Are west area call centers closing, probably. All you have to do is look at the map. Most of the CC's are in the southeast, with a few in the northeast. The writing's on the wall. It may not be this year or next, but trust me it will happen.
Just a few DAYS ago, call center jobs were popping up all across the country on the Verizon website. In fact, a shitload of jobs were posted, and they were not part of the Frontier wireline wave. Did anyone see these jobs suddenly posted on the internal boards? Did they skip that step in an attempt to recruit new (cheaper) employees?
Any call center closing in the past 5 years were always announced in Q1 of that year, with the centers closing in the May-August timeframe. Unfortunately this means we will see closing announcements, but not until January-February.
