That could be reason. It is similar to the airline business- large investment, too much competition. In ountries like India incoming calls are free for lifetime. It has been that way for more than 15 years.

Everything needs an investment, but the funds are limited. I think we'd be better off if we invest into content, cloud, IoT and software.
