Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Some of our pals here are under the illusion and not believing that VZ stock hit 38 few weeks ago. Look for "52 week low" in yahoo finance.

Actually 38.06 was the interday trading low this occurred on 8/24 during a market panic selling 1,000s of companies hit their 52 week low on the same day as the DOW fell nearly 1,000 points in less than 30 minutes the stock actually ended up closing at 44.74 that same day the stock crashed and rallied so quick that day unless you were an HFT the chances of picking up any of SP500 stocks as they hit the bottom that day were pretty slim. Using interday high/low can be a little misleading on determining the trading range of any investment.

It's OK. I understand you aren't good at understanding how to read charts or numbers. Nothing on any site says it went under $40. Good thing you have people that know what they are doing managing Finances. Plus Verizon Stock pays dividends. Which can be better than solid stock price.
