All of us have been exposed to an incredibly high dose of the finest corporate spin that exists on planet earth. Webcasts, posts, PR releases, IoT, all the hoopla. When the dust settles down, the facts are as follows: There will be a massive reorg here at Verizon, there will be massive redundancies due to the reorg, there will be TENS OF THOUSANDS of jobs lost. Just like a magician waves his hat from left to right in order to distract you, the leadership was waving IoT flags today, they were webcasting, educating, preaching, promising, predicting, all in order to distract you while the executioner is sharpening his ax. They want fresh hires so they can pay them 1/3 of what senior guys are making.

oh .."we so appreciate those that have built our great company over so many years...we will let them go gently" .....new job descriptions want "FRESH" hires...WTF...is that wrinkle free...brains free...people who do not even know Bruce Jenner won the decathalon...ugh..
