5gfz.........repeating executives stories who no nothing about telecom and no honest person to educate them.......mark my words ......wireline will be here forever.........you may not have wireline inside your house but Anywhere else, it will exist.
If you strike,
You find that the company has imposed it latest and greatest offer, and you are making less.
This will play out in time.
The new contract will not be as good as the old one.
Wireline, is slowly dying, and Revenue are dropping.
I do not think a strike will do you much good.
I agree... Relax....There is no rush...Everyone is collecting a paycheck....pension.....health care...decent work rules...There may be a need to strike at some point but not yet.
Remember, if we strike, the union stops collecting all of those weekly dues and runs the risk of having to pay out money if a long strike ensues. Like Verigreed, the union is in business to make money, not pay it out. I think it's time for new leadership, top to bottom, in both Verigreed and the union.
Question is would the company even care?
Trouble is too many kiss asses running to get things done to impress mgmnt.
Everyone is looking for the easier softer way, but all the people who are enjoying a retirement now, had to fight for it. There is no easier softer way with this company's leader ship. Your going to have to fight for it period.
