In 1970, 30% of national income went to top tier earners. What a shame, now we have less than 50% of folks in the middle class. Where am I going to end up a few years from now I wander.
It's true, we never hear about the "job creators" anymore. I guess they decided they couldn't hide behind that lie any longer. It's back to the old stand-by's of God, Guns, and Glory. That's always good for a few votes.

Now that the rich are doing so well I never hear any talk that they are the job creators. That was a common theme not so long ago.

Vote for Bernie and that will send a message. Hillary and the Republicans have the same neoliberal school of economic views. Neoliberal school of economics views have deregulate (allowed for consolidation and cut jobs), lower the taxes on the rich (if the rich are not paying their fair share then either the lower or middle class pay more or you get less social security and medicare), and globalization (you get to compete with 2 billion low wage Chinese and Indians) have stagnated wages and cut jobs. Look for automation to take out more jobs even white collar jobs in the future and there may not be enough new ones in the future to replace what it takes.
And yet half the population is still duped (by billionaire funded front groups) into thinking that unions are bad and more tax breaks for the rich will trickle down to us peons.
