Until economic and social rules finally work for all Americans, they are not working. Reimagine for a moment an America as it should be, rather than this sick distortion that we as a Nation have allowed ourselves to morph into. An America in which hard work is rewarded rather than ridiculed, diminished, and punished. An America where everyone is given an opportunity to participate. An America where we all get a fair shake, at the very least. An America in which us worker drones, us peons, get to enjoy some inkling of this great Nation's prosperity and the fruits of our labor, a nation in which our kids can finally have the occasional vacation away, to enjoy the excitement of Mickey and Minnie, rather than to suffer the now common staycation. A Nation in which our children could possibly stand a chance of not being priced out of a good education, relegated to the very rut that their parents are now perpetually stuck in. An America where the working-class is not pitted against one another, where we are not bamboozled into trying to tear one another apart in our race to the bottom for the amusement of our elite puppet-masters. An America where a man or woman who actually produces something of solid value is rewarded, you know, the person who can sit back at the end of a long day's toil and point to something concrete that benefitted society as having been accomplished by their efforts as opposed to, say, some leeching, parasite day-trader or commodities manipulator who adds absolutely nothing of value to the common good but, rather, just to their personal enrichment. Why should a person who sits on his or her couch doing this lazy manipulating, playing their stock market games become enriched, while the folks who toil endlessly within those companies being traded struggle? The middle class is responsible for creating the physical wealth that that trader is dabbling in. Yet this parasite's buying and selling, and their walking away with millions of dollars, is to be considered commendable, and emulated by the kids in business school? This is a perversion. This is insanity. This is a welfare economy for those leeches - day traders, commodities traders, and their ilk. They add nothing except for the misery foisted on millions of unaware individuals, who are stuck in a rut, worried about their children's future. Face it, we hit the jackpot when fate destined this land as the place of our birth, or when circumstances landed us here. Let us throw the shackles off and make the most of this opportunity. When our laws work against this vision, it is our duty to recreate them, to redefine the rules that guide our social and economic realities. Rethink and reshape everything from local policy to federal legislation, and reorientate towards a new economic and political system: one built by many for the good of ALL, not just the manipulators at the top. Let's have the three-day work-week that our increase in productivity gains dictates that we should have had long ago. That lone move brings back full employment rather than this continued status quo where that entire productivity gain we have all been a party to, and it's accompanying financial windfall, goes to just the gentry class. The 99% have been host too long, the 1%, a troublesome parasite making our lives miserable. But do we call them parasites?, leeches?, no. They have us call them job creators while they steal not only our means of making ends meet, but also our retirement savings and our ability to give our kids something better than we have had. What a mind f--k.

... an America where everyone who lives in the Northeast's end plan is to cut and run to South Carolina once they retire because their meager retirement account will not allow them to remain in the town of their birth, the town in which their friends live, the area in which their kids reside, the place that holds everything they're familiar with. The place where their support system, their happiness, and their memories are. Economic reality now dictates that you surrender all you've struggled to protect and hold on to your entire working life. Corporate greed is destroying more than one can imagine, from two spouses having to work through their kids entire missed childhood, to reverse mortgages. No gains have been made in this life. It's despicable. America, what happened? What turned us into geriatric nomads? I know. The 1% scumbags.
