The 'credo' is the best example of the hypocrisy of the current company. As the one has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

The day the credo was announced, my VP (who was eased out a while back) said that she thought we would really like it, it is really good
The sad part is that I think she meant what she said, she thought the credo was great and inspiring.

I stopped reading emails from execs or watching their staged lovefests a few years ago. If I want an upset stomach I'll get marked down sushi from Raceway.
Seriously, they do this more for the younger employees they've hired. They are new and believe the company cares. The company cares that the young ones work for 50 cents on the dollar, nothing more.
