When the wireless mentality took over the wireline side it spread like a cancer and killed the whole business. Sad but true. We've been runnng a service-to-the-home business for a hundred years. Wireless mcmanagement and their unfounded arrogance brought the whole thing to its needs. I suspect this was intentional by silver spoon little rich boy. Its so easy to tell who never had their ass kicked as a kid growng up, and they still need it today. Also little rich by has 6+ body guards becaus he knows my last sentence applies to him..... In the meantime watch it burn, its a good story!!!!!

Having been with VZW for over 20 years I can say that we predicted our demise a long time ago. We knew that if we ever merged with the Wireline side that would be the beginning of our end and it is happening right before our eyes. It was just a matter of time.
So $0.45 cents to the dollar profit is wireless operating at a loss? I haven't had a home telephone in over 10 years. What clown thinks wireline is profitable? Here is the truth: Wireless is tremendously profitable, but that ride is coming to an end. Wireline, including FiOS has seen its heyday a LONG time ago and is now pulling everything down with it. Wireless can no longer prop up this union bloated dinosaur with its immense profits and due to increased competition and new emerging technologies, so VZ as a whole is now a sinking ship...period.
Fios is performing surprising well actually. I am quite sure investors would be IRATE if they saw the way the wireline FIOS was run. What would be a good short description....hmmmmmmm.......... I know "Intentional Sabotage" by the FIOS hating executives here. In all honesty the plant is falling apart. the FIOS equipment is complete, utter, total, GARBAGE. And just wait until your bill arrives.......
The leadership paid 130 BILLION dollars in borrowed money for Vodaphones wireless interest and now every wireless company is practically operating at a loss to get the other guys customers. Doesn't seem the execs making seven figures nor the CEO making eight figure salary took this scenario into consideration. DO I also need to mention that wireless is useless without the wireline backbone?
Tired of the truth? Here's more. Wireless is facing the real competitive issues. Wireline is dominating over the local cable company. It's rising, customer-wise. Can the same be said for wireless? I suppose, in your twisted reality, unions are bad too. Here's some more KoolAid.
I'm tired of hearing wireline and fios is where it is at. Pull your heads out of the sand....ITS OVER
FIOS? Growth prospect? Did the doctor tell you how long these episodes will last?
I see a growth prospect in the next two years, should we opt to pursue it. It's called FiOS.
The SS Verizon is slowly sinking....
Tanslation - our leadership teams salary and bonouses are so high, they are cutting into our EBITA
He's a #fakeleader in every sense
lots of job openings in Tampa, FL/ Temple terrace NOC- 1099/W2- term contracts, when applying prepare for wages-shock
As useless as vz senior management have shown themselves to be it really isn't all their fault. T Mobile with its "we'll cut your bill in half" campaign has really upset the apple cart for vz and I suspect AT/ God bless & good luck.
When you cut and slice the pie and then sell off the entire pie in slices to appease the street you end up with an empty pie plate and an unhappy street.
The leaders have failed to increase revenue. fail.
Moral of the story .... Verizon has no leaders .... just back-stabbing parasites.
