Verizon's Joe Shmucks Board

The Verizon forum Joe Shmucks Board posts are more respectable and cleaner. Not liking the tone of some of these posts here, they seem borderline racist. Yes this country has an issue with hiring H1B visa employees but take the issue up with Congress and not with companies that legally use these laws to their benefit. http://www.joeshmucksboard.org/phpBB3/

And yet people keep right on supporting these phony flag waving politicians that are owned outright by organizations like ALEC and the Chamber of Commerce. The working class person needs to start to understand that who wins on Dancing With The Stars is not going to have the slightest effect on your life one way or the other. Instead, spend a little time figuring out which politicians are actually trying to represent your interests instead of those of the big multi national corporations.

This isn't promoting one website over the other. This is about respecting others. I visit both but some of the posts here are really off.

This board is not as anonymous as you think. Also, they are editing and removing several of the posts. Some of my posts never appeared. They might be capturing our IP address MAC address etc. There is nothing anonymous in the digital world. Only in the 3rd world countries like India have complete privacy. People there can have multiple passports with multiple names and there is nothing like credit history or SSN number or birth certificates. Most of the generations are born at home and not in hospitals. And most of the population has no standard I'd proof. There are 200 million illigals from neighboring counties live in India. There is no way to differentiate legal/illegal. People are more tolerant and allow them to lead their life. Indians are very tolerant race, that is why they allowed and tolerated birth of many newer religions like budhism, jainism, Sikhism etc in the past 3 millenia. India is also home to more number of Christians than the population of usa. India is also 2nd largest Muslim nation.

OK, now you are advertising Joe's board and asking folks to move from this board there - that is kind of not fair to this board- I personally like the anonymous aspect there, it also works better on my phone and ipad - why not hear all sides of the story, if you think Indian's are abusing our policy (H1Bs were designed to bring the best and the brightest of the world here, we hire cheap labor with limited but inexpensive skills) you should be able to voice it here. Even if you do not like certain culture you should be able to voice it anywhere, nothing wrong with that as long as you are not calling for violence

I can understand some people's anger at their elected officials for allowing non US based consulting firms to exploit an easily closed loophole which allows them to circumvent laws that specifically forbid companies from filling American jobs with like skilled foreign workers. ANY Elected Official that depends upon Super Pacs, will NEVER block this loophole, EVER, so you can rest assured no one in Congress and 90% of the presidential candidates running, may pay it lip service, feign a feeble attempt at best but still do NOTHING. If you want this changed, you need to vote for someone with no allegiance to campaign contributions. You've got one, maybe two choices, cast your votes accordingly, otherwise stop whining and get use to it.
