I had to go out to Cali for a F2F. The IT building out there looks, sounds, and STINKS like some third world sh hole. It's loaded with H1b visas from India. We're not bringing them up to our standard of living, they're taking us down to theirs. The worst part is our leadership is loaded with these a holes. When it comes time to vote for a president next year, vote for someone that's going to close the H1b visa loophole.

Let us not comment on the habits of cultures. There are so many that Indians feel very strange and relate to stone age when it comes to western habits. Every culture thinks they are far more superior than est of the cultures. I think we just need to be tolerant..
They kind of smell bad. That's the only complaint. They are hard workers.

Blame the companies and the politicians for allowing this, not the people who were presented with a better opportunity than they had in their own country. I don't want my.job replaced with h1b workers, but I certainly won't hatr on THEM if it is.

The politicians in this country are bought off and do not protect the American worker. They get campaign contributions from lobbyists from ALEC and the Chamber of Commerce and in return they sell the working stiff right down the river. And then the talking heads on the conservative news stations and on the radio try to convince you that unions are the problem?? Wake the hell up people, our country is going down the toilet.
No racism, just facts. Our company is being run by people whose allegiance lies in India, not America, and our workforce is starting to show it. If an American earns $100 that money stays here, if a foreigner earns $100, $80 of it goes overseas.

I am with you brother, I do not have issues with folks of different nationalities, but let's make it fair. If you are coming here to work for 1/2 of my wages and you are about to take my job, I have an issue with that. It's not like I can go to Switzerland and work for 1/2 of Swiss wages which are astronomical., They protect their workers. It's stupid. Why don't they open up the flood gates and let thousands of doctors come in, that would bring healthcare prices down would not it. Same with laywers, and vets, and dentists, and politicians. And cooks, and accountants. No, they are focusing on IT as they know that we make decent living and they bring this poor H1Bs to take our jobs and work for pennies. Stop it!
