It think there is a general consensus among analysts that this acquisition is a hot mess
We need content, it kind of boils down to that. They own Huffington Post which is huge on the internet. There is a ton of other online properties that are owned. If you ask me they should go ofter a smaller studio as well (like Paramount) and creative exclusive content for VZ customers, stuff like that. What about Buzzfeed? TheCHIVE? I'd buy them all while they are cheap.

AOL is 3rd in Internet Advertising behind Google and Facebook. It's not "just dialup". It's a smart buy for future revenue streams.
My grandmother sitll has AOL. Dials up, loves it. 21 bucks a month buys a lot of happiness if you are over 80.
