Do you guys think that our numbers will be so bad that they will have to announce some kind of major layoff initiative to calm down the financial circles? I mean, if the numbers are bad the stock is going to tank and how do you prevent that? You announce large layoffs that will compensate for lost profits due to poor financial performance? I mean, Verizon would not be the first company ever to come up with a genius plan like this. I am really concerned about this. I think that they will have some kind of big announcement about Wireline, I have no insider info, just a gut feeling.

According to the VERIZON Investers website and some articles out on the net we had a pretty solid 3Q hit or exceeded what the street said and missed one or two.
