In 2009 we had 230,000 employees, now we have 177,000 - the writing is on the wall

This is kind of what HP is doing now, they are taking whole departments and moving them to Adecco, Adecco decides who stays and what wages will be paid. All of them lose seniority. Win for HP, win for Adecco, workers lose. Modern capitalism, what can I tell you. Just move on, each of us is marketable. You are only screwed if you are over 50 because it's kind of hard to find a job when you are old.

The numbers dropped as many departments (e.g., AP) were taken off payroll and transferred to outsourcers. Many folks were not invited to join outsources.
