What you can do is make sure your resume is up to date, start applying to positions you find interesting "do it now," it's easier to find a job when you have one and a heck of lot easier to bargain salary wise.
Once you have all that taken care of, or you feel the need to vent, post on every presidential candidate's social media site you can find and ask them to close the H1B loopholes, I'd post two or three times a day. Times that by 500 to 1000 people and MAYBE they'll actually see it. I post 4 times per day on all GOP candidates sites, Dems could care less, they only see more potential votes or super pac funds.
