Sure, the actual layoffs wouldn't happen tomorrow, but the "restructuring" notification might.
Layoffs never happen on Mondays and Fridays. Period. There is a number of reasons here (e.g., if you mess up things on Wed you have Thur and Fri to fix it). The cut will take place on Tuesday, what exact Tuesday I do not know
Look at the view counts here, that's your best indicator. There are hundreds of people who are searching for this info. So, there's a lot of panic, something must be in the works.
