Thread regarding AT&T Inc. layoffs

Does anyone have any latest news on the layoffs?

We had received word that 20% of CO managers were being laid off in the Midwest. Wondering who is making the deciding factor? How are they chosing who is staying and who goes?

With managers seniority would not be considered as much as recent appraisals.

CO mgrs have so many offices and techs they are assigned to. So will seniority play a huge role in this? How will the company avoid the discrimination of the workers that have been there for 15 plus years?

I think Job redundancy is the number one criteria..Too many managers with few direct reports
