Thread regarding AT&T Inc. layoffs

"AT&T is getting rid of wireline"

Many have reason to be concerned but the "AT&T is getting rid of wireline" crowd has been saying the same junk for many years. At some point it just gets old. Especially when our leadership has laid out their plans for upgrading the wireline network, not selling it off. One of the merger conditions was adding nearly 12 million more fiber connections. I think this site is great for folks in different areas to come together and compare notes so to speak, but enough is enough with rumor about wireline going away.

The only one who DESERVES to go is the CEO who put the company in jeopardy when he gave away BILLIONS to T-Mobil in a deal gone bad to buy T-Mobil!!!!!! The company was recently fined (peanuts) for turning down the touted high speed internet, especially at night. People are paying for high speed internet and getting crap!!!!!

CO's will be unmanned POP's with a card changer on call for the region. take the offer and run.

It would be better to have a business on EBAY Selling 60 dollar drones with your own parts repair department.

This board was created to discuss things like this. Let folks vent without being harassed by doing so. I rather like it.
