Don't be so sure California is secure from Frontier. Verizon a few months ago sold Florida, Texas, Nevada and California to Frontier. No state opposed.
They sold all but cell service.
Att will do the same very soon. Layoff have been announced for all but Mobility. Center work including the new " cloud service" will be outsourced to India until all but cell service is left.

Mobility is far from safe. I'm aware of several mobility groups that are getting 5% cuts.
You think mobility is safe? In April Convergys was dropped by At&t mobility to have Directv contractors/reps trained on mobility. This is a puzzle too big for us to solve - just take it one day at a time.
