Was told a bunch of us would be laid off soon, and notified on the 31st. Awaiting the news on who it will be.

Goodbye IT folks. You're jobs can be outsourced to India. AT&T doesn't give a rats ass about you. They care about the $$$.

Orlando was told 20% when we went from Care to TSD - for those not technically inclined!!!
Its not just IT, its 5% across every division. all the directors have the list in hand and are in dallas next week to do a practice session.

Where is this happening?
They have been saying that IT folks are under magnifying glass for a while - I would not be surprised if this was to transpire in July. We all here know that there will be a ton of announcements on 7/31, this may be one of them - I have no solid info though
