I have worked with a union in the past. Life definitely improved when the union came in. Better pay, safety and time off regulations. Less favoritism.
Time to take the power back to the worker. My tech team has already discussed getting the union for job protection. Pay and benefits don't mean anything if your job has gone to India.
@1vjh+1vZZuifQ What do you think a ceiling is?
What benefit will a union provide? We have good benefits. We are paid well. We get a boatload of time off. What am I missing? How will a union make things better?
No, it's possible that a lot of people are quite successful without a union. We see a union as destroying that ceiling. If you want to be complacent and do the bare minimum, then a union might be for you.
I used to be in a union in another industry. It's one of the large ones. Worst decision I ever made.
If you think a union is a bad thing, then you have been brainwashed to support things that are against your own interests.
You also probably get on your knees to thank the company whenever there is a pizza party.
Unions makes millions bargaining for the id--ts that join. Guess who ends up let go? Not the union making all the money.
The libtards that fall for a union are the ones who end up unemployed
Yes! Do this!
I need a reason to dump my stock!
Cheers!
Absolutely. It's bizarre how the wingnuts who post on this site have been manipulated into pushing the most apocalyptic conspiracies about WF reducing the domestic workforce to zero, reducing benefits, ratings, bonuses, internal mobility, etc.
But try to fight back in literally the only way available when you are doomed no matter what? Heavens no!
I wouldn't mind some change, but a union is not the path.
Fuuuuck unions
Will speed up layoffs
Amen!
