Is the offer for the Southeast that much different?

As a non-bargained employee, I'm always amused at how long it takes for the CWA districts to vote on a tentative contract. Do you use carrier pigeons to communicate? Really, how does it take so long???
I have a CP assignment for the West and am not excited to possibly get deployed, but I half expect the TA to be voted down, and District 9 to go on strike with District 3.
The west made a tentative agreement. The vote is 9/6.
Will they strike in solidarity with local 3?
It’s 3’s only chance at winning. If they vote to ratify, it’s over.
I think the west will vote on the contract this coming week. Will they ratify the contract?
**Run a mile?
That was a d-mb question. How many CP's can work 12 hrs?**
Why are you dragging CP's into this? They have nothing to do with your wants or needs, abilities, or lack thereof.
How can there be an agreement, when the voting isn’t done until a couple more days?
Dist 9 was saying to vote Yes, Locals were suggesting a No vote.
Wait and see.
district 9 always sells out at workers expense.

How many of you demanding healthcare can run a mile without stopping?
We will find out once a TA is put forth. Right now that would be a BIG YES, healthcare is a major issue. Look it up in the recent bargaining updates. Raise proposal was also much less than even West.
Read bargaining report #58 for latest update on company bad faith bargaining. The union is taking the next step.
